In this video I show how I make string using only natural materials.
From picking the stinging nettle plant, to twisting and splicing the nettle bark into the string.
This natural cordage method is just one of many techniques you can use, but it's my favourite.

Stinging nettle cordage take a surprising little practice to become proficient, you can make the nettle string almost without looking at what you doing, bit like knitting really!

Making nettle cordage is the type of skill that can be used by preppers as well. In a SHFT situation knowing how to make this nettle string is essential.
