Jen Pan speaks with Paul Prescod about the continued lie of “pro-worker conservatism.” Prescod analyzes a new bill introduced by GOP senators to establish “employee involvement organizations” as an alternative to unions, and why such policies are just another attempt to prevent workers from joining the only institutions that can truly challenge capital: unions. Prescod shows that groups like American Compass have no interest in worker power, in fact the opposite: they are just another insidious movement to gut the political power of average Americans.
