Review of the Nikon 24mm f/2.8 lens AF (very similar to the 24mm f/2.8D). Review of the pros and cons of the lens, and with 3 caveats I recommend this lens. I compare the lens to the 50 mm 1.4D to some extend, and show how the same subject and scene give different results with these two lenses.

My handling of the lenses and camera bodies has given rise to some concerned comments! So please do not follow my lead! Always make sure that when you handle your lens off camera that it has proper caps and protectors mounted, so that dirt does not get to the glass. Also make sure to minimize the time the camera is "open", i.e. has no lens mounted.
