Today we are permanently removing both of this patient's big toenails due to the severe curling of his toenails. Once toenails become curved or severely ingrown, they will always grow that way.

If we were just to remove both sides of the ingrown nail, like I do for a normal ingrown toenail procedure, he would be left with an extremely thin piece and wouldn't look very nice. In this case, the best option is to permanently remove the whole nail completely!!!
