Restoration Old Rusty Fretsaw
Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this old rusty fretsaw at flea market. I didn't have such a tool, so I bought it.

Restoration process:
I took the fretsaw apart, and the handle was very old. I put all the parts in the rust removal fluid. Then, with the help of a brush, I removed the dark plaque and corrected the details with a file. The saw itself was straightened on the anvil with a hammer.
I decided to make the handle out of beech. At the end of working on a wood lathe, I noticed that there are several holes in my work piece, but not deep ones. I decided to leave it, because if I killed it, I would spoil the size of the blank. The wood was soaked with homemade wax. The fretsaw ring is made of aluminum. As usual, I made a test for you. I hope you like it. Thanks for your attention!
Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!
