Rocker cover gasket on BMW 3 Convertible (E36) (03.1993–04.1999) / BMW 3 Coupe (E36) (03.1992–04.1999) / BMW 3 Touring (E36) (01.1995–10.1999) / BMW Z3 Coupe (E36) (07.1997–06.2003) / BMW Z3 Roadster (E36) (10.1995–01.2003) cars should be changed, as a rule, according to one and the same procedure.

00:40 — Remove the engine cover.
02:24 — Take out the ignition coils from the spark plug wells.
06:12 — Remove the valve cover gasket.
09:35 — Install the engine valve cover gasket.
12:42 — Tighten the chassis (ground) terminal of the ignition coils.
13:41 — Install the ignition coils to the spark plug wells.
14:55 — Plug in the connectors of the ignition coils.
15:53 — Run the engine for a few minutes.
