Women of influence: leading the way in wildlife conservation

Almost 300 business professionals gathered on Friday 5 November at the RACV Royal Pines Resort to celebrate the annual Women of Influence (WOI) high tea and business bubbles, with an exciting theme and rare opportunity to hear from those leading the way in wildlife conservation in a public forum.

We learned all about the treatment, rehabilitation, and release programs of Koalas and other wildlife at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. Our Koala populations are in steep decline and did you know it costs roughly $7000 to treat and rehabilitate each Koala?
