While wandering around Byakko Plain, the Traveler and Paimon are suddenly attacked by a samurai wielding a sword. After managing to fend him off, the samurai realizes that they are not Kazuha. When the Traveler asks why he is looking for Kazuha, the samurai refuses to answer and leaves. The Traveler notices that the samurai's fighting style is similar to Kazuha’s, and Paimon expresses concern for his safety. Upon hearing that The Crux is docked at Ritou, they decide to head there to warn him.
