Living in Budapest, Hungary | Interview with Expat Eileen

One Minute Budapest is a series of short interviews of expats who tell their stories why they ended up in this city. It is an opportunity for each to share a little bit about themselves in a minute or less, although it tends to go a little more than that.

Eileen first arrived in Budapest, Hungary in the '70's when she was a student. She was fascinated by her ancestry and determined to come back to find out more. Months turned into years as she finally planted her flag here after traveling abroad elsewhere. She was inspired to write a humorous travel memoir about her adventure researching her Hungarian ancestry. The book is her second one, "Noodle Trails 2: A Genealogy Adventure.
