NetJets is FLOODED with new business, and is scrambling to find planes for its customers.
NetJets is facing record demand, which prompted the company this summer to temporarily "pause" sales of shares and leases of Embraer Phenom 300 and Cessna Citation XLS light aircraft and all jet cards.
At the same time, they’re doing everything they can to get their hands on more jets. A company executive said they’re hoping to take on 50 new jets this year and 60 more next year.

The company hasn’t said when they’ll start taking new customers again, but we’re guessing it won’t be long since they’re pumping $2.5 billion into new planes in the next two years.
NetJets and its Berkshire Hathaway-owned businesses, including Executive Jet Management and QS Partners, are still courting customers at the industry’s biggest events.
For the European market, where seasonal changes in charter rates can vary as much as 50% compared to the 5% to 7% fluctuations between peak and low demand months in the United States, NetJets Europe launched a transatlantic member this year card.
NetJets says its watching closely to see how many of its card members convert into full members, but they suspect the number is pretty high.
A year ago, NetJets launched a worldwide sustainability program, and this year it expanded its Blue Skies optional carbon credit program for clients to include more countries. WasteFuel, a firm that can turn municipal garbage into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), is also getting a $100 million investment. The company has committed to purchase the SAF it produces over the next decade.
NetJets executives say they’re stunned by the growth in corporate and private travel and are taking their responsibility to operate in a sustainable manner very seriously.
So what do you think?
