DETAILS:

LAFD responded to a reported brush fire in the browns canyon area
Firefighters arrived to find one acre burning on a hill
Crews had a difficult time accessing the fire
As crews made access the fire had grown to roughly 3 acres
Strong 25+ MPH winds made fighting the fire difficult
Ground and air units working to extinguish the fire
LACoFD, LAFD & VCFD are on scene handling
