DaVinci Resolve 21 Color Grading Just Got MASSIVELY Easier
Point-and-click color grading is now running natively inside DaVinci Resolve 21.
In this video I’m walking through CineDream for DaVinci Resolve, a new Resolve-native OFX workflow that lets you correct footage, build a look, and finish with film effects directly inside Resolve without leaving your timeline.
I’ll show how CineDream works on both the Edit page and the Color page, including:
• Base Correction for Log footage, camera profiles, film emulation, exposure, white balance, contrast, saturation, and skin-tone adjustments
• Point-and-click grading directly in the viewer, including targeted shadows, midtones, highlights, 3-way color wheels, 5-way color wheels, and HSL color adjustments
• Final Grading with LUT mixing, density, bloom, halation, film grain, and real-time GPU playback
The idea is simple: make color grading feel more direct, more visual, and less intimidating — especially for editors, creators, wedding filmmakers, and people moving into DaVinci Resolve from Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
CineDream owners can access the new Resolve beta through License Manager:

DaVinci Resolve is an incredible color grading system. This doesn’t replace the Color page or the full CineDream editor — it gives Resolve users another way to work directly on the image, right inside the timeline.
