How China has become a Nuclear and Renewable energy power
China has been making things big the last decade. Big cities, Big roads, Big country.
But there is something big that people has been criticizing from China for a while, The big pollution.
If we make a quick check of how the energy is produced in China, we are going to find out about how the coal is the main source, because China is full of coal.
Coal is one of the oldest ways of producing energy, but badly for China is one of the topmost contaminant ones. The extraction of coal and the burning process produces tons of solid waste including particles of heavy metals who are highly damaging for the environment and human’s health itself.
This kind of problems have forced China to make a movement to other energy sources less negative, including the Hydroelectricity, Solar or Wind energy, all of them renewable.
But there is another source of energy, which is not that contaminant, who always has been included has one of the worst for the human opinion, which China has been pushing this last years.
Yes, I am talking about the Nuclear Power.
TIMESTAMPS:
00:00 Intro
04:20 When did China started to play with Nuclear?
04:51 Birth of the Program
06:03 Electricity sector in China
08:01 Hydroelectricity in China
10:00 Renewable energy in China
12:45 Is Nuclear energy a Renewable source of energy or a Nonrenewable source of energy?
13:32 Nuclear Power PROS
14:07 Nuclear Power CONS
WARNING: Like I said on the video itself, due to some troubles with data finding and technical knowledge on the nuclear industry the video is a little weak on some data while other information is outdated (sometimes updated on the video too). So if you want to check out, I give you the list of sources used on the video.
Great article of the nuclear world association with a lot of detailed data.

Some data has been almost copied from sources as wikipedia (I know it looks weak, but the information has great quality on this topic on my opinion).
