Modeling with Model Railroad Tips #3, Rust streaks. This is a great follow up to the rust patch video. In this video we explore creating streaks of rust running down the side of the boxcar.

This does not cover the actual rust spot where the streak began. To accomplish that, simply dab a small dot of the Artists oil where you want the rust spot. I allow it to dry overnight and seal it with dullcoat before I make the streaks, so that I do not wash the spot away using the technique demonstrated here.
