Honoured to Play at Willie Clancy Summer School 2023 🎶
I am truly honoured and thankful to have taken part in this year's Willie Clancy Summer School and the harmonica recital concert. This festival is always a highlight of the year, bringing together amazing musicians and passionate lovers of Irish music.

One of the pieces I performed was "Planxty Conneely", a beautiful composition by the late, great Charlie Lennon. His music continues to inspire, and it was a privilege to play this tune in tribute to him.

However, the wild winds in the marquee made performing a serious challenge! The overpowering noise made it incredibly difficult to hear and play, and later in the evening, the ceilí had to be cancelled as the wind became even stronger. At times, I thought the marquee might blow away! 🌬️

🎶 Despite the conditions, the festival was an unforgettable experience. I met incredible musicians, heard inspirational tunes, and soaked in the magic of Irish traditional music. Check out the videos for a taste of the festival’s energy and atmosphere!
