REVIEW:
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The shipping was fast. It shipped 1 day after the order was placed (As promised) and arrived (From Vancouver to Québec) in exactly 5 working days. (Again, as promised).
It's a fun machine. I do mean machine, because those things are kinda hefty. At 27 kg, they are not the lightest of bikes, obviously. It's Zippy, comfortable to ride (The front suspension is really good, in my opinion). The components (Brakes, derailleur) are not on the highest end of the quality spectrum, but they are name brand (Shimano, Tektro) and functioned flawlessly, so far. I was looking for a fun bike, that could get me around but also make me feel like I'm riding a scooter or motorcycle. At 500 Watt, the geared hub motor does exactly that. The speed is limited to 32 Kph here in Canada, meaning the motor will cut off beyond that, but that's plenty fast to bring excitement. I'm happy to report that the throttle is proportional (Not just an On/Off switch) meaning if you press lightly the motor will only give a little boost and if you press the throttle all the way the motor will give you maximum power. It's all very smooth. I had to do NO adjustments at all when I received the bike. The derailleur and the brakes where already set to go to work out of the box.
The paint looks good, the welds look good, the parts that need greasing already are. You'll need 3 different HEX keys and an adjustable wrench. The front wheel wasn't perfectly straight, but that's easily adjustable. (In fact that was the only flaw I found)
The front suspension is so smooth, I kinda wish I had bought a full suspension bike. BUT that would of cost a LOT more.
I'm 5 foot 10 inches and found the bike to be the perfect size.
