16: Q & A - How does the PEBL do in the rain?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today was really stormy so I thought it'd be a great day to take a quick ride and get some video for you. I apologize for my long delay in putting out a video, but we've been dealing with some family stuff that's really been taking up my free time.

The PEBL really does do awesome in the rain, and it's what I purchased the PEBL to do. I love to ride my road bike when the weather's nice and for most of the summer, I did just that.

I rode the PEBL last year for close to 1,000 miles by my reckoning and during all of that time, it's been very reliable with really no issues. So far I've had no flats on the oversize tires. I did have one wheel rebuilt due to a poor initial build, but Better.Bike took care of that for me.

Their customer service has really gotten a lot better with Serafina, Nevin, Kevin and the crew. I know they're busy and some of the folks that ordered last fall are expecting their PEBLs shortly. There is still a long wait for a new PEBL but they're improving all the time. My hope is that they can ramp up production and standardize a bit more so they can improve throughput and shorten wait times.
