Review: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 WINDFORCE OC 8G

On 19th May 2025, NVIDIA quietly launched its newest addition to the "Blackwell" GeForce RTX 50 family of GPUs - the GeForce RTX 5060. Targeted at mainstream gamers on a tighter budget, the RTX 5060 comes with 3840 CUDA cores, utilises the PCIe 5.0 x8 interface, and sports 8GB of GDDR7 memory - is 8GB of VRAM enough in this day and age?

For this video, ALKtech unboxes and tests an entry-level RTX 5060 graphics card by Gigabyte - the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 WINDFORCE OC 8G. Featuring a compact dual-fan WINDFORCE cooler design with alternate-spinning Hawk fans and a RGB-free aesthetic, the WINDFORCE OC 8G is basically Gigabyte's MSRP RTX 5060 model (the WINDFORCE 8G) with a factory overclock out-of-the-box.
