KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN 1990 World Premiere

This week marks the 30th anniversary of the Broadway opening (5/3/93) of "Kiss of the Spider Woman." This sequence is from where it all began, the 1990 world premiere production of "Kiss of the Spider Woman," directed by Harold Prince and choreographed by Susan Stroman, at State University of New York, Purchase in Harrison, NY. Title song and "The Day After That" (Reprise), with John Rubinstein, Kevin Gray, Lauren Mitchell, Donn Simione, and Harry Goz. When "Spider Woman" came back to life two years later---first in Toronto, then London and Broadway--it was with a dramatically different concept and staging from this world premiere version.
