I made a decision to leave Tbilisi and take a collective taxi to Kazbegi. We stopped off on the way a couple of times, at a reservoir, Ananuri Fortress complex and Gudauri view point. When I got to Kazbegi I met up with a fellow traveller that was in the same taxi as me, we decided we wanted to climb the mountain to get to Stepantsminda sameba church. It was extremely windy.
