Welcome back. Today we are diving deep into the history of The House of Wettin, The Saxons, The German State of Saxony, The ties to the current state of the world, as well as a specific focus on Albrechtsburg Castle, located roughly 30 miles away from modern Dresden, and considered by many Saxon Historians to be the hub of Saxon Civilization.

We will browse through the oldest photographs of Albrechtsburg Castle and the greater town of Meissen which surrounds it. We will also browse a treasure trove of photographs of Castles and Palatial Homes related to the Wettin Family, before wrapping up the video focusing on The First Porcelain Factory in the Western World, which produced the First European Porcelain.

This Factory just so happened to be situated inside the Albrechtsburg Castle. We will dive into these anomalies, propose some theories, and much more. Sit back, relax, and enjoy today’s video! I appreciate you all being here.
