I was having tea with Thomas Longton when he mentioned the tight rope and how it is difficult for a handler to hold their cool when they have a good run stacking up
Sheepdog trials and sheepdog handling.
Thomas is a former International Sheepdog Trials Supreme Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion. He has been a Supreme Finalist on many occasions including this year,2018, when he finished 6th at Gill Hall Estate in N. Ireland
The Longton family have been training and trialing sheepdogs as far back as the 1930s
