Doodle Flowers in Polymer Clay
Doodle with polymer clay using your cookie cutters, texture tools, pastels, and acrylic paint to create lovely fun and funky doodle flowers in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and colors.
NOTE - I didn't mention the thickness of each of the layers in the video. This is kind of up to personal taste, but because I add at least 7 or more layers per flower, I kept each layer only about 1/6th of an inch thick. I have an old Atlas pasta machine so on my machine number 1 is the thickest setting and number 7 is the thinnest. I rolled my clay out on the number 4 setting.
Here are some of the items I used to create my flowers in this video. (These are not affiliate links, just suggestions. You may be able to find these products at lower prices through other venues)

PYM II (Preserve Your Memories II) Spray Sealer - Unfortunately, I found out after completing this video that PYM II is no longer being made. Some retailers do still have it in stock though. I recommend doing a Google search. You will find it being sold through some polymer clay retailers like Clay Alley, and also through several Etsy shops. Here is a link to some information about it on Ginger Davis Allman's very helpful Blue Bottle Tree blog (lots of great polymer clay info here!):

You don't really need to seal the pastels or acrylic paint you've used on your flowers unless the flowers are going to be handled a lot. But if you're just going to attach them to a wood panel or a canvas, where they won't be handled much at all, then sealing them is optional.
Wood Panels - These are the ones I use. I like the 1 1/2" thick cradled ones:
