Star Trek Online Game Rated T for Teen Which Includes Violence, In-Game Purchases, Users Interact.

Star Trek Online is an MMO which was released in 2010.
If you are a Star Trek Fan you will Most Likely Enjoy it for a While.
The Graphics are Dated.
The Gameplay is Very Dated.
The Ground Combat is Terrible with Wonky Gunplay and Silly Auto Aim Auto Projectile Homing Bullets which requires No Skill at All.
The Space Combat is Ok and the Auto Aim Homing Projectile aspect works Well with Space Battles BUT does Not Suit the Ground Combat.
Space Combat and Movement is Very Very Slow.

Unlike Other Games and Devs that Actually Update the Games Core Gameplay and Mechanics over the Years.
Star Trek Online has Decided to be Lazy and Leave it as a Clunky Wonky Bad Combat Experience.
Yes the Game is 13 Years Old ( NO EXCUSE ).
Games Like Warframe Started the same way with Dated Graphics and Dated Gameplay with Wonky Combat BUT Over Time Updated the Core Gameplay and How Combat and Movement works.
( So No Excuse When They Have Had 13 Years To Update This Game ).

BUT... After all i Have said i DO SEE the Potential and the Fun that can be Had with this Game.
Seems Interesting with Plenty to do with a Good amount of Customisation.
Fans of Star Trek will Enjoy this Game.
Fans of MMO's will Enjoy it as well i Assume, But would Like the Combat to be Better.
Someone that is Not really a Star Trek Fan may Still Enjoy this Game as an MMO.
But the Typical Gamer would walk away from this Pretty Early on unless they are Playing with Friends ( Any Game Can Be Fun With Friends - Does Not Make The Game Good Though ).

The Menu's and the Way you Activate Missions or Start Missions or Navigate what you are doing is Not Presented Well for New Players ( But Once it Clicks and you work out the Poorly Designed Layouts and how to Progress along with Sorting out Gear and Objectives or Maps ect its Starts to get Better ).

A Lot could be Done with this Game to make it More Streamlined for Newer Players and Existing Players, Some Quality of Life Changes would be Welcome along with Easier ways to Navigate things and make things More Approachable or Explained or Just Presented Better Overall.

Like i said earlier the Game does have a Lot of Potential BUT For a Lot of Players it gets Tedious due to Bad Menu and Ui Design and can Turn New Players Away ( Plus the Poor Ground Combat that Really Needs Improvements ) - BUT To be Fair a Lot of MMO's have Bad Combat Mechanics or they are just Very Generic.

Overall with My Impressions i Would Rate Star Trek Online Way Below Average as a General Game.
As an MMO i would Rate it 5/10.
As a Star Trek Game / Fan Service 6/10.
Space Combat 6/10.
Ground Combat 2/10.
Overall Rating 4/10 ( 5/10 at a Push ).
