Sadhna Shivdasani was born on 2 September 1941 in Karachi, Pakistan. His father's name was Shevaram and mother's name was Lalidevi. He was the only child of his parents. He got his first break from the 1955 film 'Shree 420'. The film was a hit and Sadhna's work in it was also noticed. There were many such films like 'Love in Shimla', 'Prem Patra', 'Ek Musafir Ek Haseena', 'Woh Kaun Thi' and 'Mera Saaya' in which Sadhna's work was highly appreciated and she was also a super hit. Sadhna married 'Love in Shimla' director Ram Krishna Nayyar in 1966. It was modeled after Audrey Hepburn's hairstyle to hide Sadhana's lack of hair and her broad forehead. This hairstyle became famous with Sadhna Cut. He died of high fever on December 25, 2015.
