Thoughts:
For the money the build is not bad if you are just getting into the gravel craze. Overall the build was pretty straightforward except for a couple of problems I ran into. Both the front and rear wheel required truing with the front being in worse condition. The front and rear brake rotors were warped out of the box. I had to align the rear derailleur hanger. The cables were just the right length if you plan on having the stem as high as it can go. Like most disc brake bikes you'll have brake rub right out of the box so prepare for that. The weight measured was with stock pedals and all the reflectors installed. I don't know what it is about Cannondale bikes but they tend to require more work than should be necessary to give my customers a bike that is up to my standards. Come on Cannondale step up your quality control. These bikes are some of the most frustrating bikes to build which the consumer doesn't experience unless they buy direct. Bikes should not come "BROKEN" out of the box. With all that said if you do decide to build the bike at home I have listed the tools I used in this video
