Monroe CST 8 Mechanical Calculator Eps 12 Stepper Control Box Demo

In this video I introduce my Stepper Control Box for running the calculator with a Stepper motor in place of the original AC brush motor. The idea with the stepper motor is simply to be able to run at very slow or variable speeds. The nature of the motor and controller allows for known precession of the motions of the calculator and have the able to possibly trace to specific number of rotations and be able locate and and observe key events for trouble shooting or generally understand the operation of the machine. Ultimately when the calculator if fully sorted out I'll likely put the original motor back in.
