"Educating Ricky" quickly became the favourite feature of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant in the old XFM radio shows. It didn't last long though, as Karl ran out of topics to educate with.

It started as a role-reversal spin-off from the earlier "Educating Karl" feature, but developed into so much more.
