Surprising the boys with a GOLF cart for their BIRTHDAY! | The Mikesell Family

Well, I think it's safe to say the boys are in heaven with their new birthday present! They even drove the golf cart to get the mail that was 50 feet away. This was a birthday they will never forget!

We also had some fun this week trying the shrink wrap challenge. It is the weirdest feeling in the world. I think it's safe to say Betsy was the funniest to watch. Haha! You’ll have to watch her expression at the end!

It is the boys’ birthday. but Betsy got a little something-something for her.

One of the other reasons why I got this trailer is because I knew we were going to be getting the boys a golf cart. W picked it up and I thought they were going to have tons of fun on it.

We are giving it to them early on a Saturday because their birthday is on Monday and since we leave on Tuesday, it’d be more fun to see them use it. So they might not get anything done over the weekend but Betsy suggested that we could just tell them that they can’t use it – which is even better.

We got in the trailer and Betsy just called Alyssa; she’s bringin the boys and taking them to the Church parking lot. She was going to take the boys to lunch because we have no groceries at home. I told Alyssa what is going on so she can make sure to record it on the camera. She is just going to tell the boys that they’re going to the church parking lot because she has to practice driving.

We hope we surprise them. The only thing I'm worried about is because I had written a text saying “Hey, can I come pick up the golf cart?”

We tried getting it down the trailer but it got stuck. There was a high center and got stuck because of a screw. They got there while it was still stuck but we were able to get it lifted off and the boys got to try driving it around.

Boston was totally the one scared of driving but he drove it around the parking lot.

We were in our room going through presents. I always make the kids go to Amazon and make it like a birthday list and then I just pick out a few things that I'm gonna get them, but Boston had nothing on his list this year at all.

Shrink wrapping

We had a typical Sunday afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa’s. The kids had so much fun shrink wrapping everyone; the kids got to try it out first, and then Grandma and Grandpa joined in; Betsy tried it out and got to see her reaction.
