Fernando Sor's Opus 60 is called “Introduction to the Study of the Guitar."

Jeff Peterson made this arrangement for low G ukulele, published in his 96-page book "35 Progressive Studies by Fernando Sor for Classical Ukulele for Low G Ukulele" and the 172-page book "Graded Repertoire for Ukulele Classical Volume I."

The Catalan composer Fernando Sor (1778 - 1839) was famous for being the first to play the guitar as a classical concert instrument and writing the earliest methods for guitar. His numerous studies can be found on the classical music website IMSLP.ORG.
