Ina Garten Vs. Martha Stewart: Whose Carrot Cake Is Better?

It's hard to compare Martha and Ina because they're both such perfectionists — especially when it comes to baking. Whenever we're developing any sort of classic dessert (such as vanilla cupcakes), we always reference their ratios and instructions first. Their recipes not only work 99% time and have raving online reviews, they generally taste like the best thing you've ever eaten.

Because Easter is right around the corner and everyone is dying for spring, this snackdown is all about carrot cake. Who has the best cake? And is that answer the same as whose frosting is better? We had zero idea who would win going into the competition, and unsurprisingly, it was an extremely close call.
