With our suspension and front brakes finally starting to wrap up its time to look head to our steering. Starting with an Ididit tilt steel steering column, we chose a steering column without the ignition built is because we plan on having the ignition system in the dash.

We will be modifying our steering column to add an electric power steering conversion kit from EPAS. Mounting the system under the dash will help give our car that modern look as well as that modern driving feel.

These parts are perfect for our custom build, but can also be used on any 65-66 Mustang. The steering column will fit both manual and power steering cars and is a great way to upgrade to a tilt wheel. The Electric Steering kit will also fit both manual and power steering cars and perfect way to convert to electric steering.
