The Social Ethos of the Orthodox Church
Professor Aristotle Papanikolaou joins HALC to discuss the major new document issued by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America on the Social Ethos of the Orthodox Church. This document conveys a message about Orthodoxy that will be widely discussed not simply within the Orthodox world, but beyond.
Aristotle Papanikolaou is professor of theology, the Archbishop Demetrios Chair of Orthodox Theology and Culture, and the Co-Director of the Orthodox Christian Studies Center at Fordham University. He is also Senior Fellow at the Emory University Center for the Study of Law and Religion. He is the author and co-editor of a number of books, including The Mystical as Political: Democracy and Non-Radical Orthodoxy.
