Revered as a musical genius, Steve Winwood began his music career at the age of 14 when he joined the Spencer Davis Group - enjoying chart success at the age of 16 with "Keep On Running" - a #1 hit for the band at the end of 1965. Other hits followed. He left the band in 1967 and became lead vocalist for Traffic, again finding chart success. Eventually, he went solo and in 1980 released the hit album, "Arc of a Diver", which also gave him his first solo hit single, "While You see a Chance", which made #3 in Canada, #7 in the USA and #45 here in Britain. Written by Winwood and Will Jennings, the track features Winwood on piano, organ, synthesisers, drums, tambourine and congas - along with both lead and backing vocals.
