What are the best majors for pre-PA and pre-Med students?🤔

Peace be to you all! I do so hope that everyone is approaching their 2017 goals! I wanted to impart some advice to those of you who may be planning on attending Physician Assistant or Medical School. It can be a real challenge deciding upon major when you are planning on applying to PA or Medical School. There really is no BEST major. I would advize you to major in what YOU enjoy doing ! HOWEVER, please understand that being getting into PA or Medical School is HEAVILY influenced by grade point average (GPA) . Of course, there are other factors like admissions test (GRE and MCAT for pre-PA and pre-Med, respectively), direct-patient-contact-hours(DPCH) , CASPA & AMCAS, recommendations, etc.😥 WHEH!!
