FAQ Can I Dive After Angioplasty & Stent Placement?

Question: I had an angioplasty with three stents in my right coronary artery last month, but my cardiologist is hesitant to say whether I will be able to dive, as he is not a diving doctor.
 
What would DAN’s opinion be on this and what are the criteria I should observe if I am able to dive again?
