TOP SECRET Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Here is a TOP SECRET Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. Nobody outside our family has ever made these cookies as the formula has been passed down verbally for generations upon generations. Until today it has been kept a close family secret, or not. Time for you to be the judge, make these cookies and see if they are good or not. Sure, there are variations to the recipe and measurement is critical or the cookies will not be as good as Grandma J.'s. So, give it a try!

Here is the TOP SECRET recipe complete with measurements and directions.

1 c. White Sugar
2 c. Brown Sugar
2 c. Shortening
5 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
4.5 c. Flour
2 tsp. Soda
1.5 tsp. Salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Chocolate Chips

Instructions:
1. Cream sugars and shortening.
2. Add eggs and vanilla.
3. Blend until very smooth. (This is the secret to soft cookies).
4. Add the dry ingredients and blend.
5. Divide some dough out for those family members who don't like Chocolate Chips.
6. Add Chocolate Chips or Butterscotch Chips.
7. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees.
