In this clip, Shaggy spoke about the comparisons to Bob Marley and how he sees commonalities among them. He also spoke about his “Hot Shot” not being nominated for a Grammy and blaming it on his manager. Shaggy also talked about Michael Jackson calling him to perform for his 30th anniversary event in 2001. He reflected on his love for Michael and the admiration he has for his knowledge of music. Shaggy also opened up about getting the news of Michael Jackson’s passing, and called it “shocking, to say the least.”
