It’s about what you do to actuate upon your beliefs, and I’ve always thought that. And when I was in Scientology I hadn’t really seen enough of it to understand that it was as bad as it is, but when I dove deeper and I committed myself more, I saw that I was hurting people.

…When I was in Atlanta Org and I was being pressured to force one of our new staff members to eat during Ramadan because you have to eat to go into session, I felt bad. Although I don’t participate in Ramadan myself, who am I to force this guy, you know? So I felt it within myself that I’m impacting people negatively. That’s just one example. He’s not in Scientology, by the way. That kid, he left. Good. As he should have.”
