Hyundai's 2019 Standard Safety Feature: Lane Assist Setup

Kate Reshni from Crestmont Hyundai in Brunswick, Ohio demonstrates how to setup the Lane Assist safety feature. This feature applies to most 2019 Hyundai SUVs.

Your new 2019 Hyundai is most likely equipped with a state-of-the-art safety feature. When turned on, Lane Assist will gently assist your steering when it senses you are veering out of the lane. The 3 settings are:

1.) Active Lane Keep Assist - detects the lane on the road and may apply steering wheel control if the vehicle leaves the lane when the vehicle speed is over 40 mph.

2.) Lane Keeping Assist - jolts the vehicle back when it senses you have gone over the line.

3.) Lane Departure Warning - applies audible cues when you cross the line.
