I tried making a vintage skirt from Pinterest

Hello everyone and welcome to a new video!

Do you spend too much time on Pinterest? Are you curious by the thousands of sewing diagrams and instructions on there? Do you ever wonder, how would these look like in real life? Well, this video is for you! I saw some diagrams on Pinterest for a vintage-y looking skirt and I was really struck by how simple it looked to make and how cute the final design was. I ran across the cotton check fabric discounted, so it was the perfect time to make it.

The whole process was a journey, and though the final result is not perfect BY FAR, I am really proud of myself for sticking with it and finishing it. Often when encountering problems this far into the constructions steps, I ignore them out of laziness to undo and fix. But not this time! Overall, the skirt in the end is very comfortable and still looks freaking cute with a cardigan so 🤷‍♀️ Let me know down below if you've seen this diagram before?
