In Season 11, Season of the Arrivals, there is a brand new engram that allows players to get the exact type of gear they want. Umbral Engrams are similar in a sense to the Menagerie and the Sundial, in that it allows players to pinpoint the weapons, armor and stats they want so that load outs are further optimized.

These engrams have been tainted by the darkness and pyramid ships, and with have very unique attributes. They cannot be decrypted by our buddy Rahool, but instead have to be taken to the Drifter and his decode device.
