Technically, a 32-year-old VGA graphics card (so, made around 1993) could still run in 2025 — but only under certain conditions, and not on most modern PCs.

1. Interface Compatibility
Most graphics cards from 1993 use ISA or VLB (VESA Local Bus) slots, not PCI, PCIe, or AGP.

Modern motherboards (2020s) don’t have ISA or VLB slots, so you can’t plug it directly into a current system.

2. Driver Support
VGA itself is a basic display standard, so if you could physically connect it, the PC might still show a display in 640×480 at 16 colors without drivers.

However, no modern OS has official drivers for old chipsets, so you’d be stuck with basic, slow graphics.

3. Power & Physical Fit
Old cards were designed for older power draw specs and case sizes.

Modern PSUs and cases are very different, so physical fit and voltage regulation could be an issue.

4. Where It Will Work
On an old PC motherboard from the 90s or early 2000s that still supports the slot type.

In some cases, on a retro PC build using vintage hardware.

Through special ISA-to-PCIe adapters (rare and expensive) — even then, it might not fully work.
