CS2 Performance & Throttling Test on MacBook Pro M5 — How Well M5 Chip Handles Counter Strike 2?

In this video we test Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) performance and throttling on the MacBook Pro M5. The game is launched via a custom Wine using the D3D Metal translation layer (not Crossover) with esync and msync enabled and the performance HUD active. The test MacBook Pro M5 has 16 GB unified memory and ~500 GB storage. We run CS2 on High settings at native resolution, play bot practice and real multiplayer, and monitor FPS, fan noise, and temperatures over 30–40 minutes to see if the M5 chips throttle under sustained load. Expect notes about shader-load micro-freezes on first map loads, typical FPS ranges, and the final verdict on throttling.
