Reformation Isn't For Petite Girls

If you’re on the mission to save the planet while looking cute, classy, and chic the chances of you stumbling to the clothing brand Reformation is likely high. Their aim is to make effortlessly chic sustainable clothing.

Their dresses, blouses, and skirts are mainly made out of eco-friendly fabrics such as viscose. The fabric is light and airy making it the perfect summer uniform. I found their dresses and blouses run true to size. I’m 5’0 (short, sassy, and sweet), a size 25 on most jeans, XS/S for tops, 30B, and the size 0 and S fit perfectly on me.

To my petite ladies, these were not meant for us. If you’re considering their dresses you need to account the extra cost of alterations and the time to get the alterations done (if you have an event coming up).

While I love Reformation and their mission to create sustainable pieces, the recent controversies in 2020 have shied me away from their brand. Another thing to consider is that most of their clothes require to be dry cleaned only. Which defeats the purpose of the environmental impact they’re trying to reduce. Yes, there are “green” dry cleaners.. but lets be realistic your chances of being close to one is slim. If you do then great!
