I am speaking in Amharic so that the Ethiopian community understands:

I am speaking about the missionaries problem. Missionaries coming to Israel is not a new thing.

As you all know, in Ethiopia there were many missionaries, and the weaker of us fell to Christianity.

But the absurd thing is that even though we came back to our land that was given to us through Avraham, Isaac, and Yaakov, our children and grandchildren are being exposed to this missionary threat - IN THE LAND!!!

And we continue to lose those who are vulnerable to these missionaries.

I live in Ashdod, and just less than 200 meters there is a church, and our Ethiopian brethren are going to that church! This is just one example, but this is happening all over - in Ashkelon, Ashdod, Kiryat Gat, Jerusalem, all over Israel.

We came from Ethiopia to Israel and we find the entire area full of churches!

These churches are not filled with refugees, and they are not only the new comers. These are our brothers and sisters that came with us, escaping the missionaries in Ethiopia - and they are falling to the missionaries here in the land of Israel.

Missionaries are coming here, being let into the country and being given civil rights by the government of Israel - they are doing this!

Our leaders, the elders, the Kasim, we need to do something about this!

ALL of our leaders, and ourselves, we need to do something about this! We cannot just sit by and watch it happen! WE MUST TAKE A STAND!
