How to Paint a Mountain Landscape - Outdoors En Plein Air

I love to paint outdoors, I find it really helps improving my painting skills especially colour mixing and I paint outdoors often.

In this video I will show you how to paint a mountain landscape, outdoors on location also know as painting 'en plein air. I cover the colours I used and how to mix them and also talk about the composition and the tonality of the view I am painting.

I'd recommend having a go at painting outdoors as it will really improve your painting skills but even if you are happy to stay in the studio you should still find this video helpful as the principles for painting outdoors also apply in the studio.
