We are visiting Quartzsfest today and checking out the HAM Festival

Quartzfest is fun and full of great information. Today we are learning how to use our new Ham Radio and seeing if we can make some long distance contacts. We have found an Elmer named Eric who will help us. An Elmer is a person that helps new HAM operators use their radio.
