A joint airstrike by the US-Israeli forces struck an Iranian airbase in the western Iranian city of Dezful, in Khuzestan province, on Saturday. The attack triggered a huge explosion which blew an ammunition store sky high. Video footage of the strike features thick smoke rising above the city following a powerful explosion. The attack comes after the Israeli Defence Ministry pledged to “significantly” scale up attacks on Iran in coming days, and the US said it has attacked over 8,000 military targets, including 130 Iranian vessels, in the past three weeks, since the conflict began on February 28. Meanwhile, Iran fired two intermediate-range ballistic missiles targeting the UK-US Diego Garcia military base in the Chagos Islands on Saturday night.
