Describe proper pregnancy screening and consent for imaging
Differentiate imaging modalities that have ionizing radiation versus those without ionizing radiation
Describe common clinical scenarios for using advanced imaging in pregnancy
Summary:
Reproductive age women should be screened for pregnancy prior to undergoing diagnostic imaging
Informed consent should be obtained to reassure and advise the patient of the risks of radiation
Use MRI or Ultrasound whenever possible
